FORMA

Questions, answered

Who performs the treatments at FORMA?

Dr. Caio Trentin, MD performs every treatment and every consultation himself. There is no rotating roster of nurse injectors and no hand-off after the consult. The physician who plans your treatment is the one who delivers it. This is the core of FORMA — one doctor, start to finish, not a delegated injector. It is uncommon in Fort Lauderdale, where most med spas run on APRN or RN injectors, and it is the reason patients choose FORMA.

What happens at a consultation?

A consultation is a private, one-on-one conversation with Dr. Trentin. He listens to what you want, examines your face or area of concern, and reviews relevant medical history. He then builds a treatment plan — what to do, what to leave alone, and the order to do it in. If you choose to treat the same day, treatment follows in the same visit. Nothing is decided for you, and nothing is up-sold. You leave with a plan, whether or not you treat that day.

Is there a consultation fee?

The consultation is $150, credited toward any treatment performed the same day. It reserves dedicated one-on-one time with the physician and a real plan tailored to you. If you treat that day, the fee comes off your treatment. Booking and the fee are handled on the Contact page.

Will I look overdone?

No. Dr. Trentin isn't here to change your face — he's here to refine it, creating balance and enhancing the best version of yourself. The aim is subtle refinement and natural-looking results, not a treated look. He treats conservatively, builds in stages where it makes sense, and will decline to do something if it won't serve the result. Restraint is part of the standard.

Why does it matter that Dr. Trentin is Internal-Medicine-trained?

Aesthetic treatment is still medicine. An Internal-Medicine-trained physician reads the whole patient — medications, history, contraindications, how a plan fits the rest of your health. That clinical depth informs every decision, from candidacy to dosing to managing anything unexpected. It is the difference between a cosmetic service and physician-led medical care.

Who is FORMA for?

Adults who want physician-led aesthetic and wellness care and value seeing the doctor directly. First-timers who want an honest plan before committing. People who've been treated elsewhere and want a more considered, conservative approach. FORMA also serves patients seeking medical weight loss and concierge internal medicine — beauty and health under one physician. Candidacy for any specific treatment is determined at consultation.

Xeomin vs. Botox — what does FORMA use, and what's the difference?

FORMA uses Xeomin. Xeomin and Botox are both injectable neuromodulators that relax the muscles responsible for expression lines. Xeomin is a purified formulation with no added complexing proteins. Dr. Trentin selects and doses the product based on your anatomy and goals at consultation.

How much downtime should I expect?

It depends on the treatment, and Dr. Trentin reviews specifics with you at consultation. As a general guide: injectable neuromodulators and most fillers carry minimal downtime, with possible temporary redness, swelling, or bruising at injection sites. Microneedling and chemical peels involve more visible recovery over several days. Your exact aftercare and timeline are part of your plan.

Do I have to get treated the same day as my consultation?

No. You can consult, take your plan, and decide later. The consultation fee is only credited toward treatment if you choose to treat the same day. There is no pressure to commit at the visit.

Is aesthetic treatment safe?

In the hands of a physician who screens for candidacy, uses appropriate products, and manages complications, these are well-established treatments. Dr. Trentin reviews your history and discusses risks and benefits before any treatment. Specific safety profiles for each treatment are covered at consultation.
